We do Language of the Moment:

• To broaden the horizons of our children.

• To show respect for other languages and cultures

• To give parents an opportunity to be actively involved in their children’s learning and the life of the school

Mandarin is spoken by more people than any other language, with over 1 billion using it. It is the main language of government, the media and education in China and Taiwan. Also it is one of the four official languages in Singapore.

There are also significant numbers of Mandarin speakers in Malaysia, Indonesia, Russia, the USA, Mongolia, Vietnam, Brunei, South Africa, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Hong Kong, the Philippines, UK and Mauritius.
