late Mr, Clark Thurmond and the late Mrs. Missouri Thurmond Barnes. On August 23, 1991, she entered the realm of eternal rest.
At an early age she joined the Tabernacle Baptist Church, she was active in the following organizations: Lydia Sunday School Class, Gospel Choir, Red Rose Auxiliary,Board of Directors of the Credit Union, and Retirees Senior Citizens Service Club. She served as pianist at Spring Hill Baptist & Summerville Baptist Churches.
Eva graduated from Paine College in 1930 and was a professional printer. She worked at Echo Printing Company and Logan Printing Service of Augusta and New York City, and at the Bon Air Hotel of Augusta, Georgia. Eva retired from Pilgrim Health & Life Insurance Company, and was relief dormitory Supervisor at Paine College.
Survivors include a niece & nephew; Mr. & Mrs. Tyrone (Marjorie) Wilson, two step sisters; Mrs. Nettie M, Williams and Mrs. Inez Davis, Augusta, Georgia. Cousins;T T n J ilUan B ' Jones> Augusta, Georgia., and Mr, Robert W. White, Philadelphia., three God children; Ms. Joyce Johnson,New York.; Ms. Edith Fryer Larke, Augusta,Geor- gia,, and Mr. Bobby X. Fryer, Jr,, Atlanta, Georgia., our grand nephews and a host of other cousins & friends.

UELCOME home my child,your work on earth has been well done,You have been a witness to many while on earth:And you ve shared His story about the miracles birth.You never hid the fact that you loved Him.You shared His word no matter what the need be.You speak of Him often to your family & friends rand you showed how faith can strength & often mends,YOU did your best to give glory to Him.And for this, you will live eternelly,And now the time has come for to rest: He’s taking you home as His special guest, WELCOME HOME His daughter: His child: Your Work On Earth Has Been Well Done!

Her loving heart ju st ceased to beat, Her stay on earth was done.
She left many beautiful memories, A nd a sorrow much to great to be told.
