1. GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL VISIT THE SITE, REVIEW THEBUILDING SHELL DRAWINGS AS SUBMITTED BY THE LICENSEE'S ARCHITECTAND BECOME THOROUGHLY FAMILIAR WITH THE SITE CONDITIONS PRIORTO BIDDING OR CONSTRUCTION.
2. GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL CONSULT WITH LICENSEE'SARCHITECT AND STARBUCKS PROJECT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER TORESOLVE ANY CHANGES, OMISSIONS OR PLAN DISCREPANCIES PRIOR TOBIDDING OR CONSTRUCTION.
3. ALL WORK SHALL BE PERFORMED IN STRICT COMPLIANCE WITHLOCAL, COUNTY, STATE AND FEDERAL CODES AND ORDINANCES.
4. GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY THE LOCATION OF ALLUTILITIES.
5. GENERAL CONTRACTOR TO VERIFY ALL DIMENSIONS, INCLUDINGCLEARANCES REQUIRED BY OTHER TRADES AND NOTIFY THE LICENSEE'SARCHITECT AND STARBUCKS PROJECT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER OF ANYDISCREPANCIES PRIOR TOPROCEEDING WITH THE WORK. ALL DIMENSIONSARE TO THE FACE OF THE FINISHED SURFACE UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE.ALL DIMENSIONS TO BE TAKEN FROM DESIGNATED DATUM POINT. DO NOTSCALE DRAWINGS.
6. GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL PATCH AND REPAIR ALL EXISTINGWALLS, FLOORS, CEILINGS, OR OTHER SURFACES IDENTIFIED TO REMAINTHAT MAY BECOME DAMAGED DURING THE COURSE OF THE WORK.
7. GENERAL CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR OBTAINING PERMITSFOR FIRE PROTECTION, PLUMBING, MECHANICAL, AND ELECTRICALSYSTEMS PRIOR TO INSTALLATION OF SUCH SYSTEMS.
8. GENERAL CONTRACTOR SHALL RETAIN ONE SET OF THE PLANS TONOTE AND DOCUMENT ALL CHANGES DURING CONSTRUCTION. THIS SETSHALL BE SUBMITTED TO THE STARBUCKS PROJECT DEVELOPMENTMANAGER FOR RECORD.
9. GENERAL CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR COORDINATING DELIVERYOF MATERIALS FROM STARBUCKS CONTRACTED THIRD PARTY LOGISTICSDISTRIBUTION SERVICES AND VENDOR DIRECT SHIPMENTS.
10. RESPONSIBILITY FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF MATERIALS ANDEQUIPMENT IS IDENTIFIED IN THE DRAWING SCHEDULE SHEETS UNDER THECOLUMN LABELED "RESPONSIBILITY".
11. FOR THE PURPOSE OF THESE DOCUMENTS, TO “INSTALL” SHALLMEAN TO PROVIDE ALL FASTENERS, MISCELLANEOUS HARDWARE,BLOCKING, ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS, PLUMBING CONNECTIONS, ANDOTHER ITEMS REQUIRED FOR A COMPLETE AND OPERATIONALINSTALLATION, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.
12. ALL ITEM SUBSTITUTIONS MUST BE APPROVED BY THE STARBUCKSDESIGN MANAGER.

8. FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM TO BE HYDRAULICALLY CALCULATED BASED ON NFPA 13AND 14 REQUIREMENTS. SPRINKLERS SHALL BE SPACED PER NFPA 13 REGARDINGOBSTRUCTIONS, BEAM POCKETS, HVAC DUCTWORK, PENETRATIONS AND ANY OTHERCLEARANCE RELATED ITEMS. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL SPACING ANDOBSTRUCTIONS BEFORE INSTALLATION.
7. PROVIDE ALL FITTINGS, RISER NIPPLES, ARM-OVERS, HANGERS, ETC. TO MAINTAINCONFORMANCE WITH APPLICABLE STANDARDS AND TO POSITION THE SPRINKLERHEADS IN THE PROPER LOCATIONS.
6. SEAL ALL PENETRATIONS THROUGH RATED WALLS, CEILINGS AND FLOORS WITH ULLISTED FIRE PROOF MATERIALS AS REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN THE INTEGRITY OF THERATING.

FIRE PROTECTION CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE THE LOCATION OF ALL NEWFIRE PROTECTION EQUIPMENT AND PIPING WITH ALL OTHER TRADES PRIOR TOSUBMITTAL OF SHOP DRAWINGS AND SYSTEM INSTALLATION, SO AS NOT TOINTERFERE WITH THE ROUTING OF NEW DUCTWORK, PLUMBING, PIPING, ETC.
