LIVE, LAUGH, LOVE

LIVE

“The most important thing a father can dofor his children is to love their mother."

LOVE

I am Not Gone

Do not stand at my grave and weep; I am not there. I

do not sleep.

LAUGH

I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond

glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain.

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in

circled flight.

ARE WE NOT LIKE TWO VOLUMES OF ONE BOOK?

I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry;

I am not there. I did not die.

LIVE

You may have thought I didn't see,

Or that I hadn't heard,But Dad, I picked up

everything,It's written on my heart.

LAUGH

Without you, Dad, I wouldn't be

Who I am today;You built a strong

foundationNo one can take

away.

LOVE

So here's to you, dear father,

From your forever grateful kid.

LIVE

Let's draw together to recuperate,

As we go through this period of sorrow;

Let's help each other, with tender careTo find a brighter

tomorrow.

LAUGH

LOVE

Silent To Thee

As down in the sunless retreat of the ocean,Sweet flowers are springing no mortal can see,

So deep in my soul the prayer of devotion,Unheard by the world,

Rises silent to Thee.

LIVE

LOVE

DAD

Thoughts of you Dad

Often I find myself thinking of you, Dad.

Of the support and encouragement you’ve given me over the years.

Of your generosity, kindness and guidance and especially of the many talks that we have had together.

And it’s when I think of these things that I realize how much it has helped me. To know that you’ve had many of the same dreams and doubts that I’ve had in life.

I admire and love you very much.

FAMILY

LOVE

My father gave me the greatest gift anyone could give another person, he

believed in me.

LIVE

LOVE

LAUGH

He didn't tell me how to live; he lived,

and let me watch him do it.
