• Alldishesarecleanandputawayorareinthedishwasher

• Dirtylaundryisinahamper

• Takeoutthegarbagewithyou,whenyouleave...smellsarethebiggestturn-offatashowing.

• AlitebakingsmellfromaScentsy,workswell

• Removematsthroughoutthehome,exceptthefrontfoyer

• Ensurebedsaretightlymade(thinkhotellinens)

• Ensureallpersonalitems/valuablesarestoredaway–thisincludestoiletries,jewelry/money,bills,calendars,itemsthatmaybeattachedtoyourfridge(frontandsides)

• Removedog/catbeds

• CrateKittiesorPuppiesiftheywillnotbegoingwithyoufortheshowing

• EnsureALLlightsareon..thisincludestheupper,mainandlowerlevelsofyourhouse,aswellasfrontandbackexterior(porch)lights.TheRealtorshowingyourhomewillusuallyturnoffthelightswhentheyaredone

• Playingsoft“elevator”musicisanicetouch

• TurnontheScentsyorsprayalightvanillascent(Febreeze)beforeyouheadout

And a helpful hint – if you are leaving for work or will be away during the day/evening,always leaveyourhomeready, just incase there isashowingrequestwhileyouareout.Youdonothavetoleavethelightson,buthaveyourhomeina ready-to-showstate.
