1. Press the Windows key to display the Start screen
2. Press the Print Screen key3. Press Win + C and click the Search charm4. Type WordPad in the search box and click
WordPad5. Click the File tab and click the Page setup option

Using the Paint Program If you want to edit a screenshot, you can open
or paste the screenshot in an image editing program such as Paint– you can add callouts, erase or crop part of the
screenshot, rotate the screenshot, and resize the screenshot
– you can also add and edit the screenshot colors – you can save the screenshot from within Paint as a
PNG, JPG, BMP, or TIF file

Skill 2 Steps: Use the Snipping Tool
1. From the Start screen, press Win + C2. Click the Search charm, type Snipping in the
search box, and click Snipping Tool in the Apps results list
3. Click the New button in the Snipping Tool dialog box
4. Position the mouse pointer on the top left corner of the area to capture

5. Press and hold the left mouse button and then drag your mouse to the lower right corner of the area to capture
6. Release the left mouse button to display the screenshot in the Snipping Tool window
7. Click the Copy button8. Open WordPad or OneNote and click the Paste
button in the Clipboard group on the HOME tab

Learning More about the Snipping Tool When you capture screenshots with the
Snipping Tool, you can save them in a variety of common graphic file formats, including JPG, PNG, and GIF
You can also annotate screenshots in the Snipping Tool by clicking the Pen button on the toolbar and then writing on or around the screenshot

7. Position the mouse pointer in the top left corner of the desired text in the web page
8. Press and hold the left mouse button and then drag your mouse to the bottom right corner of the text
9. Release the left mouse button to display the screenshot in OneNote
