Welcome to the world of OH-MYGOATS

Some crispy grass facts about OH-MYGOATS

• A leader in the industry

•Ranked amongst “gotune” most admired companies

•Had a steady growth and the stocks are at all time high

•Run by a well managed leader

•Well established in the “developed world”

Until one day…..•The markets Crash

•The stocks go down

•Famine and draught stuck

And…….

The board finds the whole management team non competent to manage the new situation

So they did the obvious…… sacked the CEO and went out to the market to hire a new one

They bring back Mr G•Wise and Talented

•Industry think tank

•Known for execution

•Mature in age and actions

•Control freak

• Great past record for bringing in collective productivity for his milk farms

•Was the previous CEO

•The analysts love him

Mr G gets cracking

Brought in a few of his fellow buddies like the lone Ranger, Mr I know it all etc because he has worked with them in the past

Weighed in heavily on cost control

• Retrenchment• Employee Trainings were cut• No new hires

The results…..

The analysts were happy……

• The stocks went up

Until………….

Competition started coming up……

Ne w technologies

And emerging markets

And the results….

• High attrition• Lack of productivity• Inability to cope up with cultural and

generational differences.

So what did we learn?
