What is global warming ?
Global Warming is the increase of Earth's average surface temperature due to effect of greenhouse gases, such as carbon dioxide emissions from burning fossil fuels or from deforestation, which trap heat that would otherwise escape from Earth. This is a type of greenhouse effect.

Causes• Green house effect.
• Carbon dioxide emission.
• Methane emission from animals.
Methane gas emits from the dejection of animals.
• Deforestation:
The use of forests for fuel (both wood and for charcoal) is one cause of deforestation, but in the first world, our appetite for wood and paper products, our consumption of livestock grazed on former forest land, and the use of tropical forest lands for commodities like palm oil plantations contributes to the mass deforestation of our world. Forests remove and store carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, and this deforestation releases large amounts of carbon, as well as reducing the amount of carbon capture on the planet.
• Chlorofloro carbons (CFCs)
Gases which emit from the refrigerator, perfumes, air fresheners and fertilizer chemicals.
Consequences of global warming
• Devastation of ozone layer(O3)
• A layer in earth’s atmosphere which contains relatively high concentrations of ozone (O3 ).
• Ozone absorbing Solar UV light is what heats up the stratosphere.
• Effects on health
More frequent and severe heat waves will result in a greater number of heat-related deaths.
• Bad Air, Allergy and AsthmaGlobal warming could increase smog pollution in some areas and intensify pollen allergies and asthma. Hotter conditions could also aggravate local air quality problems, already afflicting more than 100 million
people.
• Increase in annual temperature
One of the most immediate and obvious impacts of global warming is the increase in temperatures around the world. The average global temperature has increased by about 1.4 degrees Fahrenheit (0.8 degrees Celsius) over the past 100 years, according to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
• As levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) increase, the oceans absorb some of that CO2, which increases the acidity of seawater. Since the Industrial Revolution began in the early 1700s, the acidity of the oceans has increased about 25 percent.
• Because acids dissolve calcium carbonate, seawater that's more acidic has a deleterious for marine life.
• If current ocean acidification trends continue, coral reefs are expected to become increasingly rare.
• Ocean acidification
Conclusion
Finally, there are many contributing factors to global warming, the
main ones being; cars and factories, and cows fluctuating. We can
help prevent any more damage to the earths atmosphere by
reducing our carbon emissions by walking and cycling to work and
school, and using less electricity and heat. whether you believe
global warming is naturally the truth remains that there are many
ways to combat global warming, and they all begin with you. We all
must take responsibility for our actions (or inaction) and learn to
live sustainably, for our children, our future and our world.
