What isGoogle Classroom?

Think of Google Classroom (GC)

as your child’s digital link to learning.

Teachers use GC to share assignments, homework, newsletters, and much more with students AND parents!

Getting Started

Your child was provided with a secure D51 username and password.

For grades K-3, this information can be found on ParentVUE (visit www.d51schools.org and select Parents,

Parent Tools, and ParentVUE).

Open an Internet Browser - preferably Google Chrome.

Head to the D51 Websitewww.D51schools.org.

Click on Students and select Login to Classlink.

Select Click Here to Sign-In (or Login Help for more detail).

Getting Started

Sign in with your student’s username in the format username@d51schools.org and password.

If you are asked to verify the account, please click CONTINUE.

Select G Suite (Google Apps).

To join a Classroom:● Click on the PLUS sign at the top right● Click on JOIN● Enter the CODE provided by your student’s teacher

SKIP THIS STEP IF YOUR STUDENT ALREADY JOINED THE CLASSROOM.
