...We imagined,an Open Government in this digital age consistent with Pasadena’s history, culture, and unique character.

We set out to build a community, making Pasadena more transparent, while crafting an emergency response system.

Construct a foundation that allows Pasadena to achieve its objective of “open, clear, and frequent communication.” 1

...We added access,during an unfolding crisis—such as a power failure during a windstorm—Twitter allows Pasadena to work together, volunteering help and services to respond with appropriate assistance.
