Introduction

This document is provided as an overview of Industrial Fittings Sales Pty Ltd’s formalised name and the corresponding visual identity guidelines.

In order to create and maintain a cohesive face for our organisation, these standards must be ad-hered to for both print and electronic formats.

By following the styles detailed here, IFS will be able to exhibit a polished and professional ap-pearnce both internally and externally.

Company Mission

At IFS, we are committed to providing customers with high quality products and service.

We achieve this by anticipating the needs of our customers, continually improving our processes and recognising the value of each and every oneof our clients.

Identity

The key identity component of IFS is our word-mark. Based on the original graphic concept from 1990, the renewed logo consist of the characters ‘IFS’ bordered by a single black line.

The only typeface used in the IFS wordmark is Souvenir Bold. It is rendered in full colour, with a black outline.

Identity Clear Space

The IFS wordmark must not be spaced closely with body text or images either online or in print. It is preferred that at least 1/5th of the logo height be left spaced to ensure clarity.

Preferred placing is the top left of publications, or the bottom right if not available. All IFS publica-tions should contain the wordmark.

As a general rule, the IFS wordmark need only be placed once per page.

Colours

The IFS wordmark contains two colours: Pantone 032C Red, and Pantone Process Black. When printing in full colour, these must be used.

When printing in one colour, the black logo format must be used. Do not print the colour version of the logo in a monochrome or grayscale print.

Typography

Souvenir Bold is the typeface used in the word-mark and company title. It should not be used elsewhere. Restricting use of this typeface will help to ensure that the IFS brand name remains strong and eas-ily recognisable.In certain circumstances it may be appropriate to use Souvenir Bold on promotional items, but advice from appropriate management should be sought first.

For body text in printed publications, Arial Regu-lar is the recommended typeface. Maintain sizing at 10 or 12 point.

Arial is included with Microsoft Windows, and is accessible to every user.

Alternate Versions

The IFS wordmark must not be recreated in unau-thorised versions. The primary version is the two colour logo with title text left justified alongside.

Specific size can vary from project to project, but the ratio of letter sizes and the box must not be altered.

For non-white backgrounds, use the mono-chrome WHITE wordmark.

Applications

Shown on this page are some examples of the wordmark being used correctly and incorrectly.

The IFS logo and wordmark are available in P:/1-IFS/Company Logos/IFS Graphics. Theses are the only correct files. Both .PNG and .WMF files are available.

When dragging to resize the logo for a project, hold the [SHIFT] key to maintain correct aspect ratio.
