””Popular Education” :Popular Education” :

Focus on local activities rather than

“traditional marketing”.

What we do:

meetings, basic JAK-courses, seminars,

film screenings, book tables at fairs etc.

Results in competent members active as

Decentralizing JAKDecentralizing JAK

Local groups organized similar to non-profit organizations, but are not a juridical person

Each local group has a local board, called work group (for not confusing with the central board)

Decentralized responsibility for budget and activities. Budget is presented to the national JAK board and approved (totally or partially)--> distribute financial resources to local

Ideas from below

Organize local but also sometimes national events like the summer seminars (helped by the staff in members management department)

National JAK board sends questions to the local groups.
