Which forms of the relief are important for the country?

Why?

The main forms of the relief for the country are the Islands, the large coastline and the mountains.

The sea has been of great importance in the history and development of culture and Greek civilization.

Greek civilization started in the south of the Balkan Peninsula in the eastern Mediterranean.

The Ancient Greeks also lived on many islands, and the coast of Asia Minor, which is now in Turkey.

Ancient Greece was never a unified country because of its physical characteristics.

Mountains divided the Balkan Peninsula into small valleys. Each valley and each island was an independent state.
