Gudi is an upturned metal vessel on a long wooden stick. The stick is finished with a yellow hued fabric and mango clears out. Wreaths of beautiful blooms and neem leaves are likewise used to improve the staff. This custom is performed to pay respect to the Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu, as started by Shivaji amid his rule.
