target may be

broken around

How can we

create a Happy

Planet Earth?

Natural peat swamp is Wet

Flammable Drained Peatland

Paludiculture sago farm is Wet

Drainage: Mainly for acacia

& oil palm plantations…

Even without fire, it emits

more CO2 than coal plant

Restoration:

> 80 Economic Species

for Wet Peatland driven

by Indonesia government(for more than 2 million hectares

& tens of billions US$ revenue)

The Biggest Eco-

Business In ASEAN

SG$ 170 / year

Carbon Saving from Consuming Eco-

Peat Sago (carbohydrate source)

10-30 kg CO2 /kg

sago

Partial Replacement (50-65%) of Your

Carbohydrate (usually rice & noodles)

to Eco-Peat Sago with SG$170/year

budget

~50kg sago flour/

year

~ 0.5 – 1.5 ton CO2

emission reduction*.

Eco-Peat Sago Flour +

Farmers’ Stories:

Short cooking time (<1 min after water is boiled, but you need to

know the method). Faster than instant noodles!

More Eco-Peat Products in the Future Assuming 10% of carbohydrate consumption in Singapore is replaced

to eco-peat sago, the revenue can be ~200 million SG$

How We Grow

I join the Happy Planets with

Member Fee S$100, and get

Green-SG$105 (105%)

immediately. I can use the Green-

SG$ to buy products & services

from green partners, and get

notified about my green impact.

I, as a Social Partner,

convince my friends to join as

members too. I will get 4% Green

SG$ from their member fee, and

may get recognised on the

Happy Planet Platform

With more member joining, more

potential Green Partners fulfilling

our criteria will join. They will pay 10% of

Green dollar sales as marketing fee to

us (5% for member, 4% for social partner,

and 1% for maintaining the platform).

More Green Partners will bring

more benefits to Members

I join as a Member with fee

S$1000. Although I may not use up

the Green-SG$1050 after a year, I

can still keep it for future with 5% a

year Green-interest, or transfer to

other members, or opt for cash

return (subject to the Happy Planets

profit situation)

Isn’t it like getting a 5% interest from my saving with Happy Planets?

Yes, and it is higher than the fixed-

deposit you can get from any bank.

In fact, Happy Planets also carries

Green Investment (usually 5-

20% return). You can also opt to tie

your Green-SG$ with our green

investment. We will charge 10% from

your profit (e.g. 20% return x 10% = 2%

only). But you need to bear the risk of

losing your Green Dollar, though we

won’t charge you if that happens.
