Remaining Cancer Objectives

Increase counseling on tobacco use cessation, physical activity, and cancer screening (8 sub-objectives) to 85 percent, current range is 12-59 percent.

Increase the number of States that have a statewide population-based cancer registry on at least 95 percent of the expected number of reportable cancers to 45, 1999 baseline is 29 States + D.C.
