Features
Light weight and compact size make installation easier.
A hydraulic system is used for the remote electric or
manual operation, providing the customer with easy
switch operation and installation.
The flexible oil hose made of soft PVC material allows
the MOD(Manual Operating Device) to be installed on
any position either the left or right hand side
If any fuse is removed or melted, the switch contact will
open automatically. Also, if every fuse is not installed, the
switch cannot be closed by mechanical interock.
It prevents phase failure to increase safety.
By using the Air Puffer Free-Piston method, compressed
air is sprayed through a nozzle to extinguish the arc.
This keeps the main blade safe from damage and ensures
reliable interruption preformance. A channel shaped blade
is used to enhance mechanical strength and ensure
excellent electrical characteristics during closing operations.
The unique and exclusive design of the LBS includes a Earthing Switch that will discharge any current from the cable.
The LBS can be interlocked with a Earthing Switch to prevent the system from accidents.

◆ The earthing switch prevents the LBS from
mal-insertions between the LBS and the mechanical
interlock. It is designed to remove charged currents
during maintenance.
◆ The fuse trip device works automatically when a fuse
is broken (cut) due to short circuit or overcurrent. It is
quick and accurate.
◆ The counter displays the operation count to 5 digits.
(Optional)

Manual operating device(LBS with earthing switch)
◆When installing a load break switch on a distribution board, carefully follow the specialized installation
instructions.
◆When installing a load break switch on a distribution board, insert the spring washers and plain washers
into the bolts and tighten it with designated torque. Be careful of forcible pressure or deformation.
◆ Any tension or pressure from a bus bar and etc. must not be applied to the main circuit terminals.
◆ The installer shall be responsible for maintaining the consistency of the phase arrangement.
◆ Classify the main circuit terminals into power side and load side.
Installation
◆ Pump the operating handle approximately 25 pumping cycles
after the manual operating device installed on the panel.
◆ Stop operations when the closing is complete in manual type.
◆ It will open after 5 pumping cycles.
◆ Stop operations when the opening is complete in manual type.

External Structure
◆ Inspect the control power and circuit after the manual operating device is installed on the panel.
◆ The spring for an input is enlarged by turn exercise of the drive motor within 5-10 sec.
◆ The load break switch is opened via the shunt coil by supplying the specified control power.
◆ CLOSE/OPEN operations are hazardous, follow all safety guidelines when operating to prevent accidents.
◆ LBS+with ES is only applied to manual type operation.
◆ The earthing switch is only closed when the LBS is open, the LBS is closed only when earthing switch is closed.
Motor Operating Type
To ensure product safety, the switch shouldonly be used after the frame is secured on alevel surface.Stand back from the switch when a fuse mustbe removed; the switch contact (blade) willopen automatically and may cause physicaldamage.Do not push down the moving plunger of theshunt coil (locate on the top left of the frame)in the closed contact position. It will also openthe switch contact.
