Dear Parent(s),
The much awaited summer vacation is at our doorsteps. Holidays are a well
deserved opportunity to relax and rewind by indulging in fun filled activities and at
the same time educative also.
Holidays homework has been designed to fire the imagination as well as to explore and discover the creativity of our children.
A few suggestions to be kept in mind :
Spend quality time with your children . Help them to be independent by giving them responsibilities. Involve them in small household activities like- Watering plants, Set the table for meals, arranging drawers etc.
Converse with the child in English. ( Simple sentences)
Inculcate the attributes of good manners, healthy habits and respect for elders in them.
“ Reading makes a full man ”. Encourage your ward to follow a reading habit everyday. It can be small story books with attractive pictures also.
Take special care of the health and hygiene . Eat healthy, stay healthy !

Dear children,
Your Dad is a Super hero for you . He teaches you how to be strong and
loves you unconditional. He is hard outside and loving and caring in the
nutshell. Let’s celebrate Father’s day and International Yoga day with him
on 21st June , 2020 to make him more fit and lovable.
Try to do the following suggested activities to make the day special and
unforgettable.
Simple stretching of body parts
Running/ jogging
Yoga
Meditation
Prepare any healthy drink with him and spend utmost
quality time.
Sing any song / prayer with him.
Also make a Father’s day card for him .

2) Make a separate notebook for handwriting . Write 5 lines daily in proper formation.
3) Read L-1 to 5 from My English Reader and write all the new words in holidays homework notebook. Revise practice book pages 1 to 14.
4) Read the newspaper daily and find ‘ee’ and ‘ll’ sound words .Paste the cuttings in holiday homework notebook. 5) Frame sentences of the given (35) words in the notebook- in, on, under, this, that, bed, cot, sky, jump, mat, cake, chair, table, room, zoo, tree, water, pond, see, jeep, green, seed, geese, feet, bell, tall, small, well, pill, hill, doll, kill, ball, bill, teeth 6) Learn any one poem of own choice(not from book) of atleast 8 lines. 7) Do the worksheets given at the end.
Art Integrated work:-
1) Show your creativity for use of preposition words by drawing / pasting pictures ( in, on, under ).
2) Make a Picture chart/ Flash cards showing “ee” and “ ll “ sound words. ( Like- weep , pull etc. )
3) Design a beautiful wall hanging showing rhyming words ( deep- weep , bell – well etc.)

1. Learn and write about Myself in notebook. 2. Read L-1 and L-2 of E.V.S Book and underline the difficult words
and write them in notebook.
3. Revise all the book exercises of L-1 and 2. Learn the spellings well.
4. Grow a plant in your garden or in any earthen pot, water it daily,
watch it daily and take care of it.
Art Integrated work:-
1. Make a Hygiene kit : Take a shoe box , cover it with white chart paper properly. Write hygiene kit on top of the box. Keep the cleanliness things in it and Use it everyday for your hygiene.

2. Draw/ paste the pictures of healthy food and unhealthy food on A4 sheet .Circle all the healthy food and cross out the unhealthy food items.

1. Do practice of numbers from 1 to 50 ( twice a week in writing ) and
everyday orally. 2. Do practice of the following comparison concepts ( Pg 1 to 16 of
book) by drawing pictures in the notebook. Big / Small Long / Short More / Less Thick / Thin Tall / short More / few Far / near
3. Learn the numbers names from 1 to 20 and write them thrice a week.
4. Do practice of missing numbers from 1 to 50 in notebook.
Art Integrated work:-
1. Make a creative wall hanging of number names (1-20) 2. Show your creativity and make a beautiful
ABACUS . It is a mathematical tool used for doing calculations . You can use straws, icecream sticks , broom sticks, thermocol, box, beads or any other thing that is available at home. The finger movement of both hands activates the sensors of brain which facilitates the functioning of “The Whole Brain” and helps in edit intellect, thereby creating “ Child Math’s Prodigy”. This helps improving – Visualization ,Concentration, Logical reasoning , Recall ability of your child.
