Our Mission The community, students, and staff of the Brimley Area Schools will work together to create a safe and challenging environment that will promote success in academic skills, team work, critical thinking, and personal responsibility that enables all students to attain their educational goals.

Goal # 5• The school website

will be updated on a regular basis.

• A monthly newsletter will be published.

• A brochure of our school will be developed and made available to realtors.

• Student-written articles will be included in the school newsletter.

Goal # 6• The First Day of School

program will be conducted on an annual basis.

• The Parent-Teacher Organization will continue to receive support and involvement by school personnel.

• On a yearly basis, a list of volunteers tasks will be compiled, then parent volunteers will be recruited to complete the tasks.

Goal # 7• Staff In-Service time will be

made available in order to discuss strategies for improvement of the Character Education program.

• Our character education program will be based upon the Character Counts program.

• Community involvement and/or participation in Character Counts! will be expanded.

Goal # 8• Expand Student of the

Month to all elementary, middle school and high school grades.

• Increase opportunities for academic recognition.

• Increase after school programs for academic interests.

• Encourage coaches to provide “study time” before athletic team practices.
