How to Apply for a Position at LLA Step 1: Go to LLA’s website, www.lla.la.gov, and click on the “Careers” tab at the top of the page

Step 2: Click on the “Search for Jobs” tab at the top of the LLA Career Site page

Step 3: This directs you to the Career Portal where you click “Perform Search” to see positions available

Step 4: Below is an example of positions available at LLA; click on the position(s) you are applying for.

NOTE: If you would like to be considered for all Audit positions at LLA please apply for the Audit Services Staff Auditor position.

Step 5: Once you click on the position you are interested in applying for, you will be directed to another page for you to apply. Click “New Resume” under the “Apply” box to apply for the position.

After clicking “New Resume” you will be directed to complete a profile to apply for the position.

Step 6: Click “Accept” on the Pre-Employment Certification Statement

Step 7: This will direct you to the screen below – where you will choose how to proceed:

1. Upload a resume/CV document 2. Copy and paste the content of an existing plain-text resume/CV 3. Proceed without resume/CV

If you choose option 1 upload a resume/CV document you will see the screen below which will direct you to select your resume file and upload it

If you choose option 2 copy and paste the content of an existing plain-text resume/CV you will see the screen below

If you choose option 3 Proceed without resume/CV you will see the screens below to enter in all of your applicable information.

You must complete all 7 Steps to apply for a position at LLA.

After your profile is complete you have applied for the position. In the event that you need to edit your profile you can do so by clicking on either the “Existing Resume” button or “Update your Profile.”
