Select your type of visa.Many people visit the United States for business or pleasure with visa (B1/B2, however there are many different types of visa for study, exchange programs, work and investment in that country. Please complete the application form DS-160 Nonimmigrant Visa.

This form is available online in English with their respective translation into Spanish. Once endorsed print the "confirmation sheet" with the bar code. See our tips page to fill out the form DS-160 if you need additional help.

Cancel the rights of visa application and attend the appointment (if needed).

Enter the information service of Visa (CSC), create an account and follow the instructions. Not all people require interview, the system will determine if you require an interview or not (check the section of exemption of interview).

Introduce yourself in the Visa Unit of the United States Embassy in Bogota in the date and time of your appointment.

The InterviewThe personal interview with a consular officer and the information provided in writing on the form DS-160 are critical elements in the process of visa. Due to the high number of people applying for the visa on a daily basis, the interviews are generally short.
