HOW TO SAVE—TIME, MONEY, YOUR HEALTH,

LIVES, LAND, & WATER!

By Kathy Thompson

There is only one answer to this statement.

STOP EATING MEAT!

Vegetarianism is the answer. Follow along with me, please.

Time

10 times more grains and 100 times more vegetables can be grown in the same time it takes meat to get to your table.

Money

Yes, you will save money. Just compare the price of any meat, as compared to grains and vegetables.

Your HealthMeat, a second hand protein, contains fat and uric acids. Too much fat built up in the system can produce hardening of the arteries, atherosclerosis and other diseases of the blood. Too much uric acid over burdens the liver and kidneys, leaving the body susceptible to diseases like arthritis, rheumatism, epilepsy, headaches, or nervous conditions.

Your Health Continued

Since our systems really weren't meant for meat, the price we pay includes constipation and even early death. This is because our digestive systems were not meant to handle toxic meat.

Your Health Continued

Vegetarians digest their food by fermentation, which decomposes food by enzymatic action with the formation of gas. We chew our food by moving our jaws from side to side.

Your Health Continued

Carnivores can't do this. Carnivores have short bowels and must expel food quickly, because meat is toxic. On a vegetarian diet, the stools are longer, well-formed, soft and don't have an unpleasant odor.

Lives

Since we don't have the power to restore life, we have no right to take it.

LandIt takes twice as much land to feed a meat eater, than it does to feed a vegetarian. It takes .6 acres to feed a vegetarian, and 1.63 acres to feed a meat eater. Half of our the land is used for animal feed, which we should be eating. 21.4 pound of grains protein = 1 pound of meat protein. What a waste!

Water

It is takes 8 times more water to grow and process 1 pound of animal protein versus vegetables/grains.

How many reasons do you have for eating meat?

I know, I’ve been there, done it. I haven’t eaten meat for over 25 years. If you need help, let me know.
