Humans and AlgorithmsWho understands whom?

Dr. André Calero Valdez

Leader of Research Group: “Human-Algorithm Interaction”RWTH Aachen University

OpenAI's new GptViz2 automatically producesvisualizations from data, optimizing for human insight.

The environment has significantly improved visualization performance

since its introduction in February, over 10x in a small number of tests.

"We've long been impressed by how quickly AI technology has improved

and how it's changed the way we organize data," said Rob Felt, co-founder

of DeepMind, the Google AI research team, and CEO of the DeepMind

Accelerator, a private venture accelerator focused on enabling AI research

and development in many disciplines. "The solution to PPT visualization's

challenge isn't a technical exercise, it's about engineering effective

visualizations for AI users and scientists and making the environment more

interactive.
