BUI did show cases for implementations with ADvTECH and Mix
Telematics as best wins for Office 365 versus Google Apps
competes. New deployments increased overall customer count by 70
and Partner of Record by 112. BUI revenue for services increased by
27% YoY for FY16 v FY15.
Top three implementations are:
• Mix Telematics – Google Apps migration
• ADvTECH – implementation across tertiary brands
• Aveng – implementation of Exchange hybrid for complex co-
existence across multiple business entities and brands

Microsoft no longer has a CSAT tool. BUI conducted its own CSAT with
customers as part of internal quality control and staff incentive structures.
Overall satisfaction was measured at 98.2%. A key differentiator for BUI is
that as part of each staff member’s KPI / Scorecard there is a customer
satisfaction measurement. This enables the BUI team to embed customer
satisfaction as part of our culture.

• Sold seats for FY 16 is 260,000 across all segments and deployed
seats grew by 27,7K

BUI had a significant impact from a revenue perspective. Overall lifetime
seats across all segments exceeded 1.08 million seats for the first time. Sold
seats for FY16 is 260K and deployed seats grew by 27.7K.
BUI secured 5 compete wins against Google Apps of which Mix
Telematics is the most significant migration win.

Our view on innovation is from the business value and opportunity perspective
– for this question we choose to highlight Bidvest Panalpina Logistics (BPL).
The customer has approximately 1,500 seats where the first workload to be
moved is Exchange Online in a hybrid configuration.
The key value here is that:
• The customer uses this workload to build confidence in Microsoft Cloud
infrastructure and services
• Working through governance and compliance questions have shown the
customer that using Microsoft Cloud is safe and can be trusted for other
workloads
• Become a lighthouse reference for other companies in the Bidvest
organisation for Microsoft Cloud

BUI has a Level 1 BEE rating. We’ve assisted various charities throughout the
year, one being the Little Eden Home for the Mentally disabled, whom we
sponsor various IT services and products. Once again for the third year
running BUI has employed Microsoft interns to become fulltime staff at BUI.
BUI works closely with Microsoft to achieve both our goals.
BUI has dedicated and actively daily interaction with Microsoft for:
1. BUI has taken part in the Microsoft Intern program and hired interns after
they completed the program, who are today delivering projects in BUI
customers
2. BUI has jointly spent on P-Seller programs 982 hours of our own time
jointly selling, and marketing to Microsoft customers
3. Joint customer days for targeted clients initiated by BUI’s PSE

Most compelling win is the Mix Telematics Google win back that was
executed in conjunction with Microsoft and the Fast Track Center. BUI has
achieved 100% alignment with Microsoft’s vision to empower every person
and every organisation on the plant to achieve more in a mobile first,
cloud first world.
In practical terms this meant re-aligning the services lines that BUI
specialise in to focus on Office 365, Enterprise Mobility Suite and Azure.
Combined these service lines represent 80% of BUI new business sold and
60%+ of BUI managed services revenue. This was achieved through a
comprehensive digital transformation of our sales & marketing and
technical delivery competency.

Our key differentiator has been our focus on end to end lifecycle
enablement with customers – using Office 365 not just as a technology but
as a productivity driver. We have been successful in driving multi workload
consumption in targeted accounts. The Fast Track Center has been key to
this undertaking. BUI also sponsored the Microsoft Stand at the ITWeb
Secuity summit.
