As a Mechatronics Engineer you will be educated in the fields of electrical engineering and industrial mechanics. This makes the job very versatile and the apprenticeship demanding. Your field of applica-tion is subsequently in special machine construction, in maintenance, in particular for the elimination of complicated faults or in the optimization of production processes.

Duration of apprenticeship: 3.5 years

In-house training: Basic course metal engineering (lathing, milling, grinding, welding), maintenance

Vocational school: Vocational College for Technology, Lüdenscheid

External training: CNC basic and set-up course, pneumatic control, electro-pneumatics, hydraulics, gearbox training, 1 year training company Mittel-Lenne in Plettenberg, examination preparation for final examination part 1 and part 2

Apprentice workshop: Manufacturing engineering, control engineering, order and function analysis, economic and social studies, preparation for examinations
