Installation

Step 1

On your Apple device (iPad or

iPhone), please open the App Store

- You will need an Apple ID to download applications. If you do not have an Apple ID, please create one. Instructions can be found below:

Once in the App Store, search for

VMware Horizon Client

Click on GET when you see VMware

Horizon Client by VMware, Inc.

Click INSTALL

Enter your Apple ID password

Click OK

*If you have an iPhone 6 or greater,

you might be able to use your

fingerprint instead of a password*

Please close the App Store (Home

Button) and launch Safari

Configuring Two-Factor Authentication

Step 1

To use IH Anywhere you will need to

configure two-factor authentication.

If you have already configured e-

mail or text message two-factor

authentication, you can skip these

steps.

Two-factor authentication is a

security process in which the user

provides two means of

identification. With regards, to IH

Anywhere, the user will provide

their IH credentials and a time

sensitive passcode. This passcode

can be delivered using

Authenticator.

This document will guide you

through the installation of Google

Authenticator App.

If you have any issues please see the

troubleshooting tips at the end of

this document, or contact the IMIT

Service Desk.

Step 2

On your Apple device (iPad or

iPhone), please open the App Store

Search for Authenticator and when

you see the Google Authenticator by

Google, Inc

Click GET

Click INSTALL

Enter your Apple ID password

Click OK

*If you have an iPhone 6 or greater,

you might be able to use your

In Google Authenticator

Click BEGIN SETUP

Select Manual entry

Enter the following information:

Account: IH Anywhere

Key: Your 16-digit secret key

If you do not have your 16-digit code, please contact the Service Desk

Leave Time based checked.

Once you have confirmed all

information, click the in the

top right corner.

Physicians: Obtain your secret code

via the Request Form

IH Employees: Please call the service

desk to obtain your secret key.

If you have any issues, please

contact the IMIT Service Desk at 1-

855-242-1300.

Step 10

You now have you 6-digit code.

Next time you open the Google

Authenticator application you will

see a random 6-digit code that will

refresh every 30 seconds.

*Tip: If you press on the 6-digit

number it will copy the code to your

clipboard for easy pasting in another

application*

Usage

Step 1

Go to your home screen and

launch Safari.

Go to the website:

https://ihanywhere.interiorhealth.ca

Enter your Interior Health

Mnemonic (Username) and

Password

Click Logon.

Enter your 6 digit Passcode

Click Logon

Refer to the How to Use IH

Anywhere with Authenticator,

found here.

Launch IH_Anywhere by pressing it.

If asked to Open in “Horizon”?

Click Open

You are now in IH Anywhere on your

Apple device.

To enjoy the full experience of IH

Anywhere, you will want to use a

Computer.
