The story goes…• The original image of X manifested in the form of Blue Jewel. It was so

dazzling that it could grant instant moksha, so Yama wanted to hide it. King Indradyumna wanted to find that mysterious image and performed harsh penances to obtain his goal. Vishnu then instructed him to go to Y and find a floating log to make an image from its trunk. The King found the log of wood. Vishnu himself appeared in the guise of a carpenter to make the idols on condition that he was to be left undisturbed until he finished the work. But just after two weeks, the Queen became very anxious. She took the carpenter to be dead as no sound came from the temple. Therefore, she requested the king to open the door. Thus, they went to see Vishnu at work at which the latter abandoned his work leaving the idols unfinished.

• On some days, Boa Sr would sit silently in the jungle surrounding her home on one of India's Andaman Islands and gaze up at the sky. According to researchers who looked on, birds perched above would descend to the ground and inspect her; in turn Boa Sr spoke to them in her native tongue, calling them her ancestors and her friends. Her speech was rich with words of the natural world, words of the forest and the sea that some linguists suspect date back tens of thousands of years to the first migrations of man. Boa Sr was the last person alive to know them. In early February, she passed away, leaving behind no surviving siblings or children. As she died, so too did the language of her people. The extinction of which Indian Language has been talked about. [pic next slide]
