to the West Coast, with people linked hand-in-hand
across the U.S.A.
In 2004, New York Cityenjoyed Christo’s orange Gate winding through Central Park.
In 2006, Fremont and the Bay Area will be in awe of Celebrate Fremont’sHands Around the Lake!
This historic and first-of-its-kind eventwill mark the beginning of
Celebrate Fremont @ the Park 9 a.m., Saturday, September 9, 2006
- The lake path is 1.8 miles or 9,504 feet.
- Using an average of 3 feet per person will require 3,168 people to complete the link. We have 3,500 commemorative shirts available for purchase.
- The fee is $5 for purchase of the commemorative t-shirt.
- Fremont Bank has generously agreed to be a sponsor this event.

This is a truly unique, one-of-a-kind event.

by Bay Area media outlets.
This is an historic event that people will want to say
they were a part of.
• Event day shirt purchase is $7 if shirts are available.
• Participants are requested to wear the shirt for the event. If religious beliefs do not allow this the participant is requested to wear some form of clothing that is orange. • Participants need to check in by 8 a.m. to allow time to get in position.
