Strawberry Plants To stabilize the soil

Can survive the winter

Killing the grass Less grass means

more manageable for the neighborhood

Working with students from City Honors to get the neighborhood involved

Created an aesthetically pleasing area from four empty lots.

Space for the community to use and get involved with.

Some Difficulties of Working in the City

People can always be a problem and a few neighbors gave some dirty looks when we were working.

The woman at Sheehan who got mad for us using the dumpster

Trying to get donated materials.

What did it teach us? We learned that when

doing something good for the community not everyone will be thrilled that you are there.

Also learned that communities we thought were unsafe or scary are really not so bad.

Have faith in humans.

The Future Eco Trail Expand the trail to

connect back to business

Add a theater area Archways at the

entrances to the trail to make them more prominent
