Monsoon Climate• A monsoon is a strong wind

that blows across regions at certain times of the year

• From October- May, monsoons carry dry wind across India

• The rest of the year, they carry moisture from the Indian Ocean across India to drench its valleys and plains

Mohenjo Daro and Harappa were discovered in the Indus River Valley.
