Particular attention is paid to contributions dealingwith the Qur’an, hadith, and sirah studies, shari’ah, law andjurisprudence, history and civilization, political and social through,philosophy, kalam, literature, international relations, environmentaland developmental issues as well ethical questions related toscientific research. The Journal seeks to place Islam and the Islamictradition as its central focus of academic inquiry and to encouragecomprehensive consideration of its many facets.
Authors will be required to guarantee that the same manuscript or asimilar version has not been submitted to any other journal orpublication. If the author wishes to send the article elsewhere beforethe editor of the has acted on its acceptance, theauthor should withdraw the article from consideration by

Jihat al-Islam.Manuscript preparation and Style1) Articles can be submitted in Arabic, English and Urdu and should
not exceed 20-25 pages of typescript. All submissions mustincluded a 150-200 word abstract. Article must have anappropriate title and a number of sections. The first section shouldinclude the purpose of the article and methods of the study, the lastsection should include a summery and conclusions.
2) Full name(s) of author(s) must be listed, alongwith university ofprofessional affiliation, address, phone/ fax number(s), and e-mailaddress. Provide a two-three sentence biography that can be used inyour article.
3) A manuscript must be double spaced, with page numberedconsecutively and references (including full biographical notes )placed as endnotes to the text. References should follow the style ofthe following examples, with titels italicized and not underlined:
