Surface Conflict Alert (SCA)
Situation AwarenessThe Surface Conflict Alert (SCA)
receives surveillance information
and airport environmental data
updates.
Conflict Prediction
and DetectionSophisticated algorithms allows
controllers managing any
potentially dangerous situation,
taking timely remedy actions and
anticipating the severity growth.
Warning and AlertingA two-level alerting logic allows
controllers catching at a glance the
severity associated to each
dangerous situation.

Departure ManagerAllows Runways’ usage optimization through:• Flights distribution on available runways• Management of Manual Assignment• Safety separation application• Time constraints observation
Route PlannerAllows Taxiways’ usage optimization through:• Best Routes computation• AIP Routes’ management• Management of Manual Assignment• Free Routes management• Safety separation application• Time constraints obseration
Divergency CheckImplements:• Time-Divergency Check• Path-Divergency Check• Automatic Re-Planning• Manual Re-Planning

Route Planning (RPLN)
RPLN determines and assigns, to each departing aircraft, the best and
conflict-free route from the gate to the runway and to each arriving aircraft
the best and conflict-free route from the runway to the apron. It is also
possible for controllers to request a list of available predefined taxi routes
for each aircraft (depending on assigned couple gate-runway). Controllers
can select the route to be assigned among those proposed.

TWR-APP-ACC Tight IntegrationThe objective is to ensure that ATC Systems,
geographically located at different control
centres, covering completely different phases
of flight, controlling different airspaces, are
operationally seen as a single ATC SYSTEM,
assuring a reliable tight integration between
Area, Approach and Aerodrome Control
Centres.
Airport Stakeholders
Interoperability (CDM)The objective is to allows information sharing
between Air Traffic Service Provider, Airport
Operator and Airlines. The Collaborative
Decision Making process is enabled through
the implementation of flight, surveillance and
operational information exchange between
different airport actors.
