Client experience: Care and training

I liked listening in on discussions between the physiotherapists and students on possible causes and theory behind assessment and treatment. Interesting!

As a person with chronic pain, who has seen many different physios, I feel it is important for students to gain experience with patients like me.

I do not know how they could improve. I felt I was part of the team.

Next steps

Increase proportion of clients seen through the continuum of care

Link clients with existing supports to maintain their rehabilitation gains

Expand student teams to include Speech Language Pathology, Medicine, Social Work, Nurse Practitioners
