We lead from our Identity
02/09/15 The Kingdom Summit 2
• Not our training/qualifications
• Not our title
• We lead with who we areWho
am I ?
We make God “many”
• Church• Family• Leisure• Work• Education• Healthcare
“For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus” 1 Timothy 2:5
Dichotomy
René Descartes' illustration of mind/body dualism. Inputs are passed on by the sensory organs to the epiphysis in the brain and from there to the immaterial spirit.

Defining dichotomy
Simply put: we say “or”, God says “AND”
• Order AND faith• Grace AND truth• Business AND ministry• Work AND worship• Jerusalem AND Judea,
AND Samara, AND the ends of the earth
We have a “Christian” version of dichotomy

Fragmentation
Fragmentation decreases our ability to comprehend truth and make
sense of life. This is why satan uses compartmentalization as part of his strategy to “steal, kill and destroy”
thereby reducing our ability to experience the God who is One.

Fragmentation is an attack on Integrity
• Dichotomy is a set-up for failure – At church– At home– At work– … everywhere
• Integrity means you are the same person everywhere
• When sliced through, the inside is the same as the outside
Dichotomy kills
Conclusion
• We lead from our identity• Kill dichotomy, or it will kill you• Be the same through and through
