Ans Wal-mart ได้รับผลประโยชน์จาก Suppliers ที่มีจริยธรรม คือ ไดภ้าพลักษณ์ที่ดีในสายตาผู้บริโภค รวมทั้ง Suppliers ที่ดูแลด้านจริยธรรมเป็นอย่างดี แสดงให้เห็นว่าไม่ได้เห็นแต่การท าก าไรเพียงอย่างเดียว แต่ยังเป็นความส าคัญของลูกค้าและผู้บริโภคอีกด้วยแต่อย่างไรก็ตาม จริยธรรมที่ดีนั้นมีตน้ทุนที่ต้องสูญเสียไป เช่น การจ้างแรงงานผู้ใหญ่มีค่าแรงที่สูงกว่าแรงงานเด็ก หรือ การดูแลทางด้านสวัสดิการที่ดีย่อมต้องเสียค่าใช้จ่ายในการดูแล
