Differential diagnosis (Solitary Pulmonary Nodule)

• Neoplasms – Lymphoma– Carcinoid– Hamartoma – Solitary metastasis.

• Inflammatory– Infective – granuloma, pneumonia or abscess.– Non-infective – rheumatoid arthritis, sarcoid, Wegener’s.

• Congenital – Arteriovenous malformation, pulmonary sequestration.

• Miscellaneous – Pulmonary infarct, rounded atelectasis.
