Return of start menu

START MENU

Whereas Windows 8 uses the Start Screen to launch applications,

Windows 10 has reintroduced a more traditional START MENU. It’s

also been expanded to make it easier to find important apps.

Microsoft edge browserMicrosoft Edge Browser

Microsoft Edge is an all-new browser designed to make a clean

break from the Internet Explorer. Build around the latest web

standards and powered by a new rendering engine under the hood.

Microsoft Edge is also designed for a new generation of Windows

tablets and touch devices in mind. Offering built-in inking

capabilities that lets users write directly on webpages – and share

with others.

Cortana comes to the pC

Cortana comes to PC

Cortana is now available on Windows 10.

Similar to Siri and Google Now, you can talk

to this “virtual assistant” with your

computer’s microphone. Cortana can

answer questions, (“What’s the weather like

today?” perform simple tasks (“remind

me to take out the trash”) and much more.

RUN MODERN APPS ON DESKTOP

Run Modern Apps on the Desktop:

Modern apps were introduced in Windows 8. Modern apps now will

show up as a normal windowed application when in desktop mode.

You can run multiple Modern apps in this mode, and resize or drag

them around the desktop as you desire. On the Start Menu, Modern

apps continue to behave the same way as they did in Windows 8.

Upgrade free

FREE UPGRADE WHEN:

If your computer used Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 and meets the System

Requirements, you’ll be able to install Windows 10 for free.

This upgrade offer will expire after one year, ending sometime in August of 2016. After that time, will be available for purchase.

Windows 10 is not available as a free upgrade for users with Windows RT, Windows Vista, or Windows XP. This is mostly because any computer

Operating these systems just won’t be able to run Windows 10 very well.
