2 Open IoT and Open Data Platforms

engaging organisations and

leveraging relevant initiatives

31 cities from 7 countries launched the Open and Agile Smart Cities (OASC) innitative commiting toadopt common principles:• Common Open APIs -> FIWARE NGSI• Standard Data Models -> CitySDK and more• Open Data/APIs publication platform• Driven by implementation approach

Portugal:Porto, Lisbon, Fundão, Palmela, Penela and Águeda.

2nd wave of 50+ cities from 10+ countries plannedin Sept. 2015

3rd wave of 100+ cities from15+ countries planned for SCEWC in November ‘15

• The creation of a dynamic European IoT ecosystem supported by open technologies and platforms

• Preparation of future IoT research as well as innovation and standardization policies
