Design
Horizontal, single stage, end suction centrifugal pump dimensionally according to ISO 2858 . The back pull out design allows for easy maintenance and repair as the rotating element may be removed without disturbing the pipework.

ConstructionHorizontal single stage, end suction with vertical discharge. The "back pull out" design allows for the maintenance of the pump without disturbing the pipework connected to the casing, or the pump alignment. The pump is built to the dimensional requirements of ISO 2858.
ImpellerThe impeller is enclosed type. Hydraulic balancing of impellers is achieved either by back vanes or by balancing holes. The impellers are statically and dynamically balanced. Reliable fixing of the impeller on shaft is achieved by using helicoilinsert under impeller nut. To improve NPSH performance, inducer can be supplied.
CasingThe casing has axial suction and top center line delivery. Smooth hydraulic passages ensure high efficiency. Normal design is foot mounted pumps.
ShaftThe shaft is supported by two antifriction bearings to take residual axial thrust and prevent axial float or radial run out. It is fully protected from the liquid handled by means of a shaft sleeve and gaskets between impeller nut.
FlangesANSI B 16.1, CL 125 Flat Face : for CI/BRANSI B 16.5, CL 150 Raised Face : for sp.metals viz. st.steel, cast steel etc.

Stuffing BoxThe stuffing box is sealed by gland packing or by cartridge mechanical seal. Stuffing box cooling is provided for operating temperature 105 ˚C for gland packed and 140 ˚C for mechanical seal fitted pumps.
BearingThe bearing are oil lubricated. For high temperature (above 180 ˚C) application, bearing oil cooling arrangement is provided. All pumps are provided with reinforced bearing arrangement as standard supply.
Direction of RotationClockwise viewed from driving end.
DrivePumps can be driven by electric motor or engine.

Pump SelectionFor pump selection the hydraulic performance curves should be used. These curves are based on water at 15°C and SG equal to 1.0.NPSH values are indicated on the performance curves. At least 0.5m should be added as a safety margin.
