THE APPLICATION PROCESS

The aluminium holding rail is placed around the building and parallel to the ground by fastening it on the substrate with special anchors (2 pieces/meter).
Next the adhesive (ISOMAT AK-T35/T55/T65) is applied on the thermal insulation boards (EPS, XPS, MINERAL WOOL) in 2 different ways:a) Uniformly, on the whole surface of the
board, using a notched trowel, if the substrate is smooth.
b) Along the perimeter of the board and in 2 or more spots in its center, using a trowel, if the substrate is uneven.
The thermal insulation boards (EPS, XPS, MINERAL WOOL) are then fixed by placing them from bottom up, in horizontal consecutive layers overlapping each other so as to form a layout of crossed joints that will prevent cracking of the overlaid plaster.
The following day the thermal insulation boards (EPS, XPS, MINERAL WOOL) are fixed mechanically with collar head anchors, which should have a length according to the thickness of the board and the type of the substrate. Next the base coat (ISOMAT AK-T35/T55/T65) is applied universally on the boards.
The base coat is applied with a notched trowel in parts of width > 1m. Afterwards, the fiberglass mesh is placed and pressed on the still fresh layer of the base coat with a smooth trowel.
After the base coat has fully dried, the surface is primed with the primer of the respective plaster that will be used. After the primer has dried, the surface is then coated with the pasty acrylic or silicone plasters MARMOCRYL of ISOMAT.
