J16PS Position Sensors
A Ge position sensor consistsof a single element photodiode witha quadrupole electrode geometry.These devices can provide linearX-Y beam position information forlasers and other infrared beams.Positioning information is deter-mined as shown in Fig. 2. ThePA6:4C preamplifier is recom-mended for Teledyne Judson position sensitive detectors.
