PROCESS BOOKTHIS SUMMER, ROADTRIP CAMPAIGN

PROCESS>>

PROBLEM>>

Natural spring water is an afterthought with all of the competition of Gatorade and energy drinks to sodas. The 6 waters by Nestle Waters (Poland Spring, Deer Park, Ozarka, Ice Mountain, Arrowhead and Zephrhills) all have very unique and rich histories that no one knows about.

RESEARCH>>

In 1845 people would travel hundreds of miles to get their hands on the Poland Spring ‘healing water.’ Nestlé Waters presents a summer campaign taking you all over the country with it’s This Summer, Roadtrip iPad app that builds you a road trip based around water.

STRATEGY>>

This campaign is multifaceted. The different aspects include the special edition 6-pack cooler with all six waters, the roadtrip ipad app where customers can create a roadtrip based around water and also advertising.

FIRST ROUND DRAFTS>>

First round of design is always a failure where you learn mistakes.Problems with first round with this project was more about creating the app and advertising that did not speak to my intended target audience at all.

Redo, redo, redo...

DESIGN>>

After many comps, I reached a unique style of design that speaks to the intended target audience. I liked the outcome of this design because it shows different personalities and originality which fits with the roadtrip app because each customer creates their own adventure.

FINAL PRODUCT>>

The final product included advertising, the roadtrip iPad app and the special edition waters 6-pack.
