Region Rallies
NC Baptist Men Tuesday, February 9 – Region 4
Faith Baptist Church, Youngsville
249 Holden Rd, Youngsville, NC 27596
In February 2016 NCBM will host a series of Regional
Mission Rallies across the state. These rallies will
highlight the variety of opportunities NC Baptist have
to be involved in missions across our state, in our
nation and around the world. Featured will be
worship, testimony, mission video and a prayer time
for missions. These rallies are for men, women and
youth – everyone interested in missions is encouraged
to attend. A main focus of these rallies will be the NC
Missions Offering and ministries that are supported by
the NCMO. You may register at

2016 With the turning of the calendar comes the beginning of a
new year. As 2016 begins, we have so much to anticipate; so
much to look forward to. We are hopeful. Generally
speaking, we are hopeful because of the gospel. No matter
what chaos ensues around us in this sin-sick world, we look
forward to a day when Jesus has promised to make all things
right. Because we are in Christ, we look forward to an
eternity where we will dwell with God in an eternal home
completely void of sin and its effects.
More specifically, we are hopeful because of how we have
already seen God begin to cast his vision for our future as an
association. Much of the last two years have been filled with
wonderful discussion that has led to an exciting picture of
how God seems to be leading us to fulfill the Great
Commission together! Through that process we have been
able to further define our mission statement in a way that
causes us to better steward our resources for that very
mission. And for that, we are thankful.
Although we are thankful for this refreshed vision, we
desire to see 2016 become a year of action. Now that we
have further defined our mission, let’s begin to actualize
those ideas as we pursue it together! Our Board will begin to
have some intentional conversations in the early year about
specific ways we can begin to encourage, mobilize and train
in ways that will maximize our ability to do that.
As we have seen God’s faithfulness through leading us in
this time of vision casting, we are just as confident that He
will provide our association with the leadership needed to
carry this vision into the future. We believe that we are
perhaps very close to seeing the end of that process, as well.
Would you join us in praying as the Lord continues to lead?
Pray for a special event coming up on Tuesday, February 2,
(Tuesday, February 9, inclement weather date), in which
pastors or representatives from each of our association
churches will interact with a final candidate and decide
whether to present him to our entire association at our
Spring Meeting for a final affirmation to ask him to be our
next Executive Director.
Most of all join us in praying for big things as we follow a
big God into 2016 and the future together!

YFC Celebrates
SAVE THE DATE
Tuesday March 8, 2016
Again, this year our annual banquet will be a
celebration worship service. We are asking our friends
to fill a pew with people who might be interested in
joining with our ministry in the work of the Gospel! We
are still asking you to bring Christian friends who aren’t
familiar with the Gospel work of Youth for Christ
Roxboro, but we are going to celebrate the Lord Jesus
with our old friends as we introduce our ministry to
new friends. Westwood Baptist Church is being kind
enough to partner with YFC again this year as our host
facility. There will be no meal at this year’s gathering,
but there will be beverages and finger foods afterward.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR; PLAN ON SPONSORING A
PEW; help us fill up the sanctuary with people and
WORSHIP of OUR GOD! Call the YFC Office with
questions, 336-503-9327.
