Our relationship with God becomes routine and we lose the
passion and desire to fight for our family, to accomplish great
things in the kingdom of God and we arrive at a point where our
heart does not receive or perceive God’s call. Matthew 13 gives
an example of 4 types of ground that seed falls on which
produces 4 types of results. This is a type of the condition of
our heart when we receive the seed of the word of God. It is my
desire that the word of God, our worship and our relationship
with God would be cultivated by allowing the spirit to fall on
“good ground” Don’t allow the issues of life, the challenges and
problems you face to choke the word of God in your life. Don’t
allow life’s crisis moments or challenges to create a heart of
stone (indifference) in your spirit. We must strive to have a great
attitude and a humble spirit and heart. When it comes to matters
of our heart, God wants all of us to be at peace and serve him and
others in a spirit of unity and brokenness. A humble and contrite
heart will never be rejected by God!

to God’s voice and direction for our
lives. As we continue to fulfill our
day to day to responsibilities, we
can get to a point where we lose
our connection to God and others.
