IMPORTANCE OF IMPORTANCE OF MORAL EDUCATIONMORAL EDUCATION
-
“Training in morals and good conduct is far more
important than book learning. A child that is
cleanly, agreeable, of good character, well-behaved --
even though he be ignorant -- is preferable to a child
that is rude, unwashed, ill-natured, and yet becoming
deeply versed in all the sciences and arts. The
reason for this is that the child who conducts himself
well, even though he be ignorant, is of benefit to
others, while an ill-natured, ill-behaved child is
corrupted and harmful to others, even though he be learned. If, however, the
child be trained to be both learned and good, the
result is light upon light.””
LAUNCHING OF J.Y.E.P
»Launched in September 2006»In presence of Ms. Naznin Rowhani
“It is extremely difficult to teach the individual and refine his character once puberty is passed. By then, as experience hath shown, even if every effort be exerted to modify some tendency of his, it all availeth nothing. … While the branch is green and tender it can easily be made straight.”
- ‘Abdu’l-Bahá
WHO IS THIS PROGRAMME FOR?We Love The Junior Youth Empowerment Programme
Held at our School .
Where???
JYEPJYEP Empowering Junior Youth Morally and Empowering Junior Youth Morally and
SpirituallySpiritually
Junior Youth Empowerment Programme seeks to enhance the powers of expression of junior youth and goes beyond the mechanics of reading and writing to awaken in them a desire to take charge of their own development and contribute to the transformation of their communities.
For me, it seems important that we should see other as human beings, in order to help everyone....Just like others, I had no interest in helping my community, but now I think differently because of all these passages in the book like: “Blessed and happy is he who ariseth to promote the best interests of the peoples and kindred of the earth.”
JUNIOR YOUTH EMPOWERMENT PROGRAMME
A story from TAJIKISTAN
‘A Junior Youth group had begun among the Roma community
The Roma children loved these classes so much that they even brought their younger siblings to their classes.

PARENT’S OPINION ABOUT J.Y.E.P

of the students - their inner resources, their sense of self, their sense that they can do and contribute,"
