Objectives and Common Core Standards
• Students will read words left to right. (CCS RF.K.1a)
• Students will recognize that spoken words are represented in written language by specific sequence of letters (CCS RF.K.1b)
• Students will blend onsets and rimes of single-syllable spoken words. (CCS RF.K.2c)
• Students will pronounce the initial sounds (phonemes) in three-phoneme (consonant-vowel-consonant, or CVC) words. (CCS RF.K.2d)
