X is a famous folk theater and operatic drama form, popular in northern India especially in Uttar Pradesh. Before the advent of cinema in India, it was the most popular form of entertainment prevalent in these areas. Usually it consisted of folklore and mythological dramas with interludes of folk songs and dances. Now it has taken other forms. In many areas it has been restricted only to female dance shows. It has its origins in the folklore of North India about a princess with incomparable beauty, who was so delicate that she weighed as mush as a flower.

The word X comprises two words, one meaning "nine" and the other referring to a "silver coin weighing four grams", and thus metaphorically implies that the graceful princess weighs only 36 grams (9 X 4).

There seem to be two major reasons as to explain his unique trait.

Ahead of their arrival into the city X, some locals openly questioned whether the city was in any state to receive these guys. But a month or two into it, and despite misgivings over increased traffic, these guys have won praise for helping to clean up rubbish-strewn, graffiti-plagued areas.

The visitors are said to have worked with city council workers on the clean-up project, while their introduction of private security firms has helped rid the city of much-detested unlicensed parking attendants in the touristy districts. The clay pan was formed after rainfall, when the Tsauchab river flooded, creating temporary shallow pools where the abundance of water allowed camel thorn trees to grow. When the climate changed, drought hit the area, and sand dunes encroached on the pan, which blocked the river from the area.

It hence became too dry in Deadvlei for the trees to even decompose. They simply scorched black in the sun, monuments to their own destruction. The trees, now over 1000 years old, form a barren forest

This 1961 biographical book called The Agony and the Ecstasy, among other things, highlighted the conflict between X and Y which was mainly centred around how a certain herculean task was to be executed inside a building. The author’s primary information source was the 495 letters of correspondence written by X. This also provided the basis for the storyline of the 1965 movie of the same name, where X is played by Charlton Heston.

On doing some research, Hank Green found out that, like his wife, nearly 10% of Americans experience discomfort while performing this activity. So to tap into the supposedly large market he came out with a product which helped them. He modified the existing product in such a way that it had the same polarization in all of its lenses. It selectively lets only one image through it instead of different images coming through its lenses like in the original.
