Kampung Batik Kauman is a rural area eat of Pekalongan City, Cental Java province, Indonesia where most inhabit are working in Batik industries as their home activities and Kauman is a new tourist attraction. Over 50 stores, old buildings, green scenery and home stay available here.

Kampung Batik Kauman or Kauman Batik Village is the eldest village in Pekalongan district, East of Pekalongan City; this area knows as the center for Batik (Indonesian traditional garment industry), where almost of its local people produce as batik home industry and canting (instrument of painting batik). This Kauman is very unique, you can stay at the local homestay and join local daily activities, see the local producing printing and hand writing batik, coloring process, to the final process and become ready to sell product. Some of the houses are still authentic with Chinese, Dutch colonial and Islamic influences. Another attraction is Al Jamie' great mosque, built in 1852 or watch Terbang Genjring and Simtudduror as one of unique art and culture of Kauman’s religious music.
