• Unique LCCN assigned to the e-book application• Program within the Traffic Manager collects LCCNs and

data elements• Sent outside the Traffic Manager to the record creation

• Access to e-book application provided to participants on Oct. 11, 2011

Next Steps• Monitor pilot through March 30th, 2012• Evaluate/Assess findings of pilot—April 2012• If successful, move pilot into production—May

2012• Announce to community/solicit more publishers

to join• Continue to work with LC staff and publishers on

ways to ingest, store, and make available CIP e-book copy to internal users at LC
