Technical Notes:Blend: 100% Syrah 100% Caliza Vineyard– Willow CreekSyrah Clone and Harvest Date:383– Oct. 20174– Oct. 28Alban– Oct. 19Aging: We fermented each of the different clones of syrahseparately in small bins and only punched down rather thanpumping over. After pressing, the wine was placed in 7French Seguin Moreau barrels, 4 of them being new and 3being once used. It spent 23 months in barrel aging beforebeing blended and sent to the bottle.
